Some companies report maintenance on air suspension to be three times the cost of leaf suspension over a 10 year period. This is a bolt on set of air bag brackets with grade 8 hardware for the upper bracket. Leaf spring suspension doesn t usually need much maintenance some retorquing of the leaves but air suspension can and it s more complex. For tractors air ride suspensions became the standard many years ago on over the road applications while vocational vehicles often use leaf spring suspensions because of their greater durability.

Ridetech s air over leaf system offers a great ride quality and extra load capacity without re engineering your vehicle. This air spring in conjunction with some lower weight rated leaf springs will give your truck suspension the ability to achieve a smoother ride like heavy duty airide when unloaded while still keeping the load. The lower bracket uses the leaf spring hardware to bolt on. This is a great universal set for truck or car with a flip kit and a side frame mounted leaf spring.

Works for most all applications. Lowering is accomplished by removing 1 or 2 leaf springs. They will eventually need some maintenance to fix any leaks. Ez flow flat striping and lettering enamels the first and only flat striping enamel.

The air spring is then inflated to restore load capacity ride height and spring rate.
